The Mayor's London Plan groups London's 32 boroughs into 5 sub regions allowing City Hall to engage and work more effectively with boroughs on issues where there is a wider geographic significance such as transport.

The South London Sub region comprises seven boroughs:

  • Bromley
  • Croydon
  • Kingston upon Thames
  • Merton
  • Richmond upon Thames
  • Sutton
  • Wandsworth.

Within this sub regional grouping five of these boroughs, Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, and Sutton have a particularly successful and long established track record of working together through the South London Partnership on a range of issues principally around

  • transport planning
  • economic development
  • planning and regeneration

This website provides information on the work the SLP undertakes as well as providing a resource about South London for stakeholders, partners, residents and businesses in order to help shape a better South London in the future.
