Croydon Council has won £20.3 million in the first round of the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) programme which aims to boost the economies of deprived areas. LEGI is a joint programme between the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, HM Treasury and the Department for Trade and Industry.
