Organisation
South London Partnership works with a number of south London statutory, public, private, and voluntary and community organisations to fulfil its core objective of securing a sustainable south London. The Partnership Chairman is Bruce McDonald, Chief Executive of the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames.
The elected Leaders of the constituent boroughs – South London Councils - meets regularly and this cross-party group works collaboratively to represent the interests of south London residents and businesses. Their work includes regular meetings with the Mayor and representatives from the Greater London Authority, MPs and key government representatives.
The work of the partnership is taken forward by the Task Groups: which comprise partners with key delivery responsibilities for planning, transport, environment, skills, business support, sports, arts and culture; and through the wider partnership network which draws together amenity groups, environmental groups, architects, large and small businesses and individuals with a keen interest in south London’s health and prosperity.
The arrangements for London’s sub-regions are currently undergoing a review and this will result in some changes to how the partnership decision making and networks are organised. This site will be updated to reflect these changes.
