Go South Go - Cultural Festival

To coordinate and direct the delivery of the South London Cultural Festival, South London’s contribution to the national Cultural Olympiad

1. Coordinate activity across South London to add value to locally based cultural activity
2. Develop & publicise overall programme for South London Cultural Festival
3. Design, develop & deliver new sub regional events & activities
4. Communication link between local, regional & national activity
5. Respond to national Cultural Olympiad & ensure South London makes a full contribution with events & activities that support & enhance national themes & milestones
6. Provide guidance & direction for festival director & other staff involved in delivering the festival
7. Ensure arts & cultural organisations are fully informed & involved in the development & delivery of the South London Cultural Festival & provide mechanisms for collaboration
8. Facilitate & endorse bids for funding to support the Festival
9. To coordinate the deployment & sharing of resources
10. Ensure cultural activities are lined to other aspects of the Go South Go programme - sport, tourism & trade
