The purpose of the South London Transport Strategy Board is to provide a joint mechanism between Transport for London and the local authorities of south London for development of a transport strategy for south London

Transport Strategy Board

The objectives of the South London Transport Strategy Board will be:
• To consider the transport issues facing South London and agree priorities for improvements
• To review the evidence base which informs transport decisions for South London and agree enhancements and improvements in the data and information available and its accessibility
• To act as a steering group for the development of the sub regional transport strategy for South London
• Drawing on the identified priorities, to make recommendations for investment in transport in South London within the known funding envelope.
• To consider other sources of funding for transport investment in the sub region
