Wandle Forum AGM
A very successful first AGM for the Wandle Forum was held on 6th Sep 2007 at Morden Cottage in Morden Hall Park. Exciting progression is being made with project development and many Wandle themes being promoted including the development of a new regional park in the Wandle Valley. Wandle Clean Up - The Wandle Trust
Our next cleanup - Sunday 14 October
Trewint Street -despite the huge amount we pulled out in front of the BBC cameras, there is much more waiting to come out!. Our meeting point is just by the bridge over the Wandle at the end of Trewint Street. If you can, please arrive at 11 am for our health and safety briefing. If you arrive later than that, don't worry, and please just make yourself known to one of us in the high viz vests. We will have a tea/coffee break around 1pm - you may wish to bring a packed lunch - and then work until around 3pm - then to a local pub.
Please bring waders if you have them otherwise, we can supply a limited number, as well as gloves, grapples, and litter pickers. Strong boots, trainers or wellies are recommended for those who will be on the banks and please wear old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
