The second Wandle Forum meeting was held in the historic Chapter House ruins of Merton Priory. The minutes of this meeting are attached along with the proposed action plan and proposals for how the forum might be developed and managed. Your comments are requested on these documents (even if you couldn’t attend the meeting!) so that we can reach agreement on the structure of the forum and the way forward. You can also view the ‘mind-map’ of the issues raised at the first Wandle Forum meeting which is a great way of viewing the huge range of interests in the Wandle Valley.

Wandle Forum 1 - 23rd Jun 2005
A workshop meeting was held at Groundwork offices in Morden Hall Park to consider and discuss river-led regeneration along the Wandle corridor. Taking the Wandle Valley Green Ribbon Initiative discussion document as the basis for the workshops, the 46 delegates who attended the meeting, identified a number of opportunities and action points for improving the heritage, environment and communities along the Wandle. It was agreed to establish a forum for the Wandle and work now continues building on the results of this first workshop.
